our REsponsibility: Environment and Quality

Those who, like SAERTEX®, have made it a philosophy to overcome existing production and development of technical limits, have to measure themselves against the highest standards: Since 1993, the SAERTEX® GmbH & Co. KG has been certified according to the Quality Management System DIN EN ISO 9001 via DEKRA.

In addition, our products' verification of suitability confirms that you can rely on their quality for many decades: Because besides the DIN EN ISO 9001 certification, for the manufacture of our products there is also the "General building authority approval" from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt), Berlin, for the procedures of the SAERTEX-LINER® and SAERTEX® multiFlex. Internationally, the CSTB approvals are in accordance with NF EN ISO 11296-4 and the WRc as per PT / 299/0610-AS.

WE LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE

From the first fibre used to the processed resins and foils, all materials are subject to stringent checks and tests. Of course, regular reviews of our products from current production are carried out in our own laboratory - and independent testing institutes regularly make thorough inspections our products.

Furthermore, exclusively high-quality, durable chemical and corrosion resistant glass is used in the factory manufacturing of our products. For example, our ready-to-install liners are fabricated to the nearest millimetre and pre-infused with an ISO-NPG polyester resin or vinyl ester resin for particularly aggressive sewage.

The advantages are obvious:  On one hand, the entire infusion process is subject to the strictest controls, thus eliminating production failures from the outset. On the other hand, the use of chemicals on the site is completely eliminated - an important aspect with regard to the safety of installers and residents as well as for the protection of the environment. Both resins are suitable for the UV-light curing as well as for artificial ageing with water vapour.

Reinforcing glass fibres are embedded in the optimally tuned resins. Products made of synthetic fibres, such as polyester needle felt, only serve as carrier material for the resin, but do not have reinforcing properties. Significantly high material values of our products result from this fact.

OUR SOLUTIONS: ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND INNOVATIVE

Sewer renovation with our products is more environmentally friendly and more economical than conventional methods, whereby whole streets have to be dredged. Through pipe-in-pipe renovation, soil and nature are not destroyed, it creates less noise and dirt and - last but not least - the procedure is much faster than the conventional open construction procedure.

The environmental sustainability of SAERTEX-LINER® was confirmed in relation to groundwater and soil for example, by the Hygiene Institute of the Ruhr, Gelsenkirchen. There is no evidence of the delivery of environmentally damaging substances from the cured SAERTEX-LINER®. During installation and curing of the liner, it is protected by a styrene-tight outer film-PA, which is surrounded by a further light-protection film. For a proper installation, uncured material may not come into contact with groundwater and therefore negatively affect it.

In the formulation of the liner no toxic substances of concern are used to deal with the cured liner, with no toxic effects on the environment. Remnants of the liner at the site can be cured without light protectors in normal daylight and are supplied to the residual waste after complete curing.

Sewer renovation with our products is therefore much more environmentally friendly than conventional methods in open construction. Soil and nature are not destroyed and the so-called "social costs" for the residents such as interference from noise, dirt or traffic delays are significantly lower. These aspects are still potentiated by the enormous speed of the system.
